Join me on the last Wednesday of each month and experience a combination of meditation practices and healing sound waves. This 60 minutes of bliss can potentially release any stress and tension in your body and soothe your busy mind.

What is a Sound / Meditation Class?

A sound / meditation class is also known as a sound bath or gong bath. It involves you lying on a yoga mat fully clothed with a pillow and blanket for comfort. You will be taken on a guided meditation to help you relax, then various sound vibrations and frequencies are created using different sound healing instruments. These sound waves resonate throughout your body soothing and harmonising your various organs and possibly every cell in your body bringing you back into balance. These vibrations lead you deeper into a state of contemplation or relaxation, shutting off your body’s fight or flight reflex. The frequencies created during a sound bath can potentially trigger a phenomenon called sound healing.

The session starts with a gentle guided meditation to help you relax, leaving you open to receiving the healing frequencies of the various sound instruments that follow. You will be gently guided back into full awareness with a grounding meditation.

Having a long soak in a warm bubble bath is always relaxing, but you can also immerse yourself into the healing vibration of sound. A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are bathed in sound waves. Various sound healing instruments are used including quartz crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and Tibetan singing bowls.

All you need to do is be there and allow the healing sounds to wash over you. Come on your own or bring a friend.

(Please note, due to certain frequencies, Sound / Meditation Baths are not suitable if you are epileptic or if you are taking anti-psychotic medication. Please get your doctors permission if you are pregnant)
